In Year One, we are looked after by Mrs Ferguson and Mrs Emmerson.  We have a great time in class because Mrs Ferguson loves getting her guitar out and singing songs.

We also have to do some really hard work so it's a good job that we all love reading and writing. 

We have already had some great days out this year.  We have visited Down at the Farm where we were all allowed to wash the pigs - Mrs Ferguson particularly enjoyed this!  We also had a very special visit to the new houses that are being built next to our school.  The buildings and builders were both very nice.

This week we have been preparing our assembly - why not come along and watch us? Next Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.

In History we have learned that our toys are different from those children had in the past.

In Year One some of us are learning to play the violin.
